Message From Your Board Co-Presidents

Thank you again to all our members for allowing us to take the reins of the NC Chapter of AG Bell. We are honored to serve you all, and we hope to make significant strides during our tenure. There has been a slight change in the structure of our board. Stephanie Sjoblad has stepped in as our Deaf/Hard of Hearing Adult Director, and, given her personal and professional experiences, we feel that she will be a valuable asset in this position. As such, we have welcomed Shell Keim, another esteemed parent, as our Secretary. We are excited to have her as a part of our team.

We have been in service for 6 months now, and we have had two official board meetings. After processing the results of our survey, the board has a better idea about what our membership envisions as we move forward. As such, we are finalizing details on community education and fundraising projects, and we will be calling on those of you who are willing to share your time to support our mission. In all truthfulness, we will not be able to meet our goals without your help. So, thank you in advance for your support. We truly appreciate all your efforts.

Please be aware that we will have an open board meeting at the Fall Conference in November at Camp Caraway. Keep your eyes peeled for details. We would love to be able to hear from you in person.
